BAKED BISCUITS AND WHOLEGRAIN MIXER

INTRODUCTION

Baked Biscuits and Wholegrain Mixer make up the range of Denes complementary foods. Complementary foods are given as a small proportion of a dog's daily food intake and are fed alongside complete wet and dry foods. They provide roughage, which promotes a healthy digestive system, as well as exercising the teeth and gums, helping to keep them clean and healthy. The range of complementary products consists of the following:

BAKED BISCUITS

There are four varieties available, each one made with high quality ingredients. Denes Baked Biscuits have no artificial colours or flavours added and are low in salt.

Wholegrain Baked Biscuits
Available sizes: 300g and 10kg

The wholegrain flour and grassmeal in these biscuits are excellent sources of fibre, while the seaweed provides essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Calcium is added to strengthen teeth and gums. In addition, rosemary and tocopherol-rich plant extracts provide a natural source of antioxidants, which help to prevent cell damage. There are no animal products in these biscuits.

Low Calorie Baked Biscuits
Available size: 300g

As with the Wholegrain Baked Biscuits, these contain wholegrain flour, grassmeal, seaweed and calcium. The addition of fresh carrots provides beta-carotene, a natural antioxidant. Denes Low Calorie Baked Biscuits are recommended as part of a weight control diet and may be fed alongside Denes Low Calorie with Chicken & Liver plus added herbs canned dog food. There are no animal products in the Low Calorie Baked Biscuits.

Wheat Gluten Free Baked Biscuits
Available size: 300g

For dogs with wheat gluten sensitivity, Denes Wheat Gluten Free Baked Biscuits are based on corn starch, rice flour and oat flour. Gelatine is added as a binding agent and comes from an animal source. Other wheat gluten free products from Denes include:

Fresh Breath Baked Biscuits
Available size: 300g

For dogs with bad breath or as an alternative to the other products in the range. Based on wholegrain wheat, these biscuits contain peppermint, eucalyptus and parsley seed. These natural supplements help to address the problem of bad breath both locally (in the mouth), and internally. Both parsley and mint are known to be good tonics for the digestive system. There are no animal products in these biscuits.

WHOLEGRAIN MIXER

Available sizes: 2.5kg and 10kg

Denes Wholegrain Mixer is made with the same high quality ingredients as the Baked Biscuits. Wholegrain wheat and grassmeal are excellent sources of fibre, while seaweed provides essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements. It is the perfect biscuit to complement Denes complete canned foods. Denes Wholegrain mixer contains no animal products.
